Our "Circle"

• Since our last class, reflect on / analyze two gatherings in your own life, like a social event such as a dinner, meeting, rehearsal, wedding, graduation, party, funeral, concert, play, conference, or even a class session.

• One gathering should be memorable, meeting or surpassing expectations, while the other should also be memorable, but disappointing.

• Answer the following questions regarding both gatherings.

  • Evaluate the purpose, format, and location of the gathering, as well as the dynamics between participants and the audience.

  • How did it resonate with you? How did you feel when you left the gathering?

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the gathering in achieving its purpose.
