  • Complete Input Maps and post to your process website

  • Post your constant input details to your process website (what are you going to do?) including proposed schedule (when? actual dates. make due dates mondays.)

  • Phase 1: Discovery / Inspiration / Process

    • Watch at least three of your classmates' personal inventory videos, and write responses to at least three classmates’ personal inventories on your process website. Compare and contrast. Include links to their videos.

    • Write a love letter or breakup letter to your favorite object (DO NOT USE an object from your personal inventory), product, or service, and post it on your process website.

  • Post your process website URL to the ip_fa16 slack channel

  • Read

    • Rohde, Mike. “Sketching: the Visual Thinking Power Tool.” A List Apart. January 25, 2011.

    • Brown, Sunni. “The Miseducation of the Doodle.” A List Apart. January 25, 2011.

    • After reading both articles, write a reading response on your process website about the article that resonated with you the most.

      • Do not write a summary. In other words, do not regurgitate the article. Discuss any epiphanies or insights that occurred while reading, how it reflects your own creative process (or does not and why) or how it will inform or change your own process (or will not and why).
